The story in short

Mr. Vannak, the school principal of School #12, told that with confidence:
“I have served my school and community for many years and witnessed many challenges, especially in providing students with the right tools for the future. Today, I feel deeply grateful for the generous support of the IFL project in fully equipping our computer lab with 15 computers, a projector, screen, printer, and setup materials. This is more than technology—it is a gift of hope, access, and opportunity.

For years, students dreamed of digital tools. We borrowed equipment from nearby schools or relied on outdated, broken devices. Teachers struggled to teach IT effectively, and students lacked real practice. With this lab, those days are behind us. When students entered the lab for the first time, their eyes lit up with joy—many had never touched a computer or seen a projector outside special events. Now, they will regularly access the digital world, learning to type, use Microsoft Office, search for knowledge, and build skills for higher education and employment.

This support also renews motivation among teachers, giving them tools to deliver modern lessons, integrate multimedia, and turn theory into real-life learning. Our IT and Soft Skills classes will finally move beyond theory.

As school leader, I am committed to ensuring this lab is used to its full potential with clear schedules, equal access, and encouragement for both boys and girls. We will also teach students to care for the equipment and value this opportunity.

On behalf of our school, I sincerely thank the IFL project, the Department of Education, and all partners. This investment is not just in hardware, but in the future of our youth, our school, and our community.”
