IFL Career Development Centre
Phnom Penh
We are proud of the opening of our first Career Development Center in Phnom Penh in the presence of 6 school principals, 12 teachers, 25 alumni grade 12 students, representative of the governor and several other guests on February 15, 2023.
The career development is a three story building with classroom for 20 students, a computer lab with 10 computers, numerous study rooms and office space for the team. We will provide students with several boost courses, support secured and shared housing and part-time job, coach them through their studies and provide access to internships and job opportunities.
In his opening's speech, our donor Rikkert Beerekamp said, “We are proud that we have built a strong foundation with 6 schools and that we will add 9 more school to our family in the coming years. However, today we start building a bridge between high school graduation in rural areas to a meaningful job in Phnom Penh. Our schools will be our ambassadors in the province to make our center a success.”
